I have watch each and every one of the Public Safety Meetings, and I have to ask myself why? I find it scary that we have some of these people in Public office.
I have watched as the D.A. slept during part of one of the meetings.
I have sat for week listening and trying to fiqure out why District Attorney Ed Caleb has continued to push for Kelley Minty Morris to be put on the committee. At, first I thought maybe they were in some kind of realtionship,going on between the two of them,other than professional but I was wrong.
I recently heard that Kelly Minty Morris was going to run for County Commissioner against Al Switzer. I was shocked to hear of this. She has absolutely no experience and she was a news reporter and pardon me for saying so, but I dont think she was very good at it.
I dont know why she would put herself through this. I believe after watching the meetings that the fuel behind her running is truly coming from the D.A.
Its like he is obsessed with having her on this committee.
Then while having lunch the other day and I hear that Todd Kellstrom is going to also run for Commissioner ( not sure what positon) ? So I had to ask myself, if by some chance if he were elected who would be going out of town with him and babysitting him while he gets pie-eyed ( intoxicated) And wouldnt that cost the County more money? Having to have a back-up to make the presentations? Or in a simpler version a Babysitter?
I feel this is nothing more than a group of the good ole boys and girls club and I for one wont be sending any of my votes their way. I want fresh and new with and NO MORE CLUBS.
As far as I know, the only thing Kelley has ever run is a camera. I can’t see in her background anything that give her experience to run as a commissioner. We don’t need inexperienced leaders.
As most of you probably don’t know, Ed Caleb is right on in endorsing Kelley Minty Morris. Ed is one of the most well respected DA’s in the state and is brought in to the largest cities in the state to handle the most serious of issues. Why would someone like Kelley who moved on from Klamath to pursure bigger opportunitiese back east in media come back to Klamath, let’s see. 1. To go back to an area she loves and cares about (seems like Switzer only in it for a paycheck, oh wait he is getting audited as it sounds like he is making his own salary inflate while the rest of us Klamath people are occupying our houses without jobs. 2- Kelley took a pay cut to come back to Klamath to work for a non-profit Citizen For Safe Schools (probably cares about the future of Klamath more than Mr. Sitzer) 3- Kelley has fresh ideas and isn’t one of the “good old boy or girls” If anyone has ever interacted with Kelley they know how driven and determined she is at whatever she does. For you people that don’t know politics very well, most people get their start from media or being in the public one way or the other. It seems like she is married to a Klamath resident who went to KU. Out with the old (very old Mr. Zwister) and in with the new.
