An Eagle Point-area man arrested March 28, 2012 related
to the shooting death of his roommate was indicted Tuesday by a Jackson County
Grand Jury on numerous charges.

the State of Oregon passed legislation in support of those veterans by

American Red Cross, widely known for responding to victims of house and
apartment fires with immediate assistance experienced a fire of their own. Fortunately, there we no injuries, but the
damage to the blood collections bus was extensive.

Record numbers of gray whales have already been seen
heading north on their annual migration up the Oregon coast. The Oregon State
Parks Whale Watching Center in Depoe Bay predicts this is a good omen for the
upcoming spring whale watch week starting Saturday, March 24 through Saturday,
March 31.
